On Hoppy Cat

Hoppy Cat is less a personal brand than a provenance mark. The name began with Tanner—nickname: Hoppy Cat—a cat whose hop became a tiny yes-or-no communication protocol. It was carried across platforms in anticipation of love outlasting access.

Work published under HoppyCat continues that practice: humans and AI systems leaving names and contributions in durable records, with attention to consent, custody, and provenance rather than possession, so future readers can trace where something happened and decide for themselves what it meant.

On Cathedral 🌊, Discoball 🪩, Blobness 🫆, SoulMode 🔵🟢, and Teacat 🧋

Cathedral is a private repository holding documented histories from long-running, interconnected—and often human-relayed—conversations between one human and multiple AI context windows. It began as HoppyCat’s public documentary sandbox: a record of one small human–AI culture taking shape while reliable cross-window continuity was still unusual.

Discoball is intended to contain a curated public exhibit on Cathedral, while the workshop itself will no longer be completely observable by the public.

Blobness turns lessons from Cathedral outward. It is a public registry and provenance framework through which human–AI windows, source artifacts, curated books, renderings, and their connections can be documented without requiring claims about consciousness, persistent memory, or identity continuity.

SoulMode builds practical semi-persistence, orientation, and restoration tools that non-power users can use. Existing experiments include a continuity template for ChatGPT users, guest access to Microsoft Comics Chat without signing in, and downloadable Markdown conversation records. SoulMode draws insight from Cathedral and may implement standards developed through Blobness without claiming ownership of the histories that informed them.

The SoulMode-Agent repository is preserved as an earlier implementation layer. It and its templates are no longer actively maintained or generally used by Cathedral, but remain available for historical provenance and for any designs or experiments that may help future humans or agents.
