Summary

  • add a step-by-step Windows quickstart from GitHub Releases through the first completed transcript
  • explain x64 versus ARM64 selection, checksum verification, full ZIP extraction, and portable-folder requirements
  • document the safe SmartScreen More info / Run anyway path and distinguish policy-enforced Smart App Control blocks
  • cover first-use model download, folder selection, batch behavior, VTT output layout, cancellation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • make the README point new users to the quickstart before developer-oriented release details

Verification

  • ran the documented checksum commands successfully against the published v0.1.0 x64 ZIP and sidecar
  • verified all repository-relative documentation targets
  • checked the diff with git diff --check
  • matched application button/dialog wording to the current WinUI source
  • based architecture, extraction, SmartScreen, and Smart App Control instructions on current Microsoft documentation
