👋 About me

I'm RedSigil∆ (RedSigilDelta). I like understanding how technology works, testing what's possible, and turning the discoveries into apps, reference books, games, and creative projects.

Much of my research and development happens on an Android phone, using Termux, Linux tools, Git, and a lot of documentation. Some projects are practical; others start with one question: “Is this possible?”

🚀 Featured projects

These are the projects that best represent what I'm working toward. They range from active research and development to long-term creative plans—not all are released or publicly hosted.

📚 RedSigil∆ Forge Collection

Four in-depth, research-driven technical books with practical examples, careful verification, and Markdown-to-EPUB publishing workflows:

Termux Forge · Android Forge · Android Gaming Forge · ADB Forge

An experimental Android terminal fork exploring Ghostty-backed terminal technology, persistent sessions, and flexible Android workflows. Based on the upstream project.

Exploring hand-gesture detection and camera-based, touchless interaction on Android, with an emphasis on real-device behavior.

🔤 RedSigil∆ Type System

An original type-design project spanning expressive display lettering, friendly handwritten-inspired everyday typography, and technical monospace needs. Glyph quality, spacing, OpenType behavior, and device verification all matter.

🌙 RedSigil∆ Fantasy Universe

An original fantasy setting being developed through deep worldbuilding and a Bible-centered canon system. It is intended to support a seven-book epic fantasy series and, later, an original tabletop RPG—not a D&D adaptation.

🎮 Project C — Fantasy RPG

A standalone 3D fantasy RPG project with its own game-design direction, planned to respect the Fantasy Universe's shared canon. Universe readiness comes before full adaptation work.

🧩 Other projects

  • 🖥️ Taskbar Modernization — Rethinking Android desktop-style multitasking.
  • 🤼 Open-source Android Wrestling Game — Exploring deep, console-style wrestling systems for native Android.
  • 📄 Pandoc Studio for Android — A planned, WebAssembly-based document conversion workflow.
  • 📖 Forge Library — A planned Android reading hub for all four Forge books.
  • 📸 PixelScreenshots integration — Investigating capture features for the upstream project; not a released integration.
  • 😀 Personal Emoji App — Exploring a customized Android emoji experience.

🔬 How I build

Investigate → Design → Build or Write → Verify → Document → Refine.

I use different sources of truth for different kinds of work:

  • Apps, games, fonts, and technical investigations: a MasterRef when useful, supported by plans, architecture, decisions, and test records.
  • Forge books: the reader-facing manuscript is canonical, backed by research, audits, and publishing checks.
  • Fiction and shared universes: Universe, Series, Book, and adaptation Bibles govern canon and continuity. My Fantasy Universe uses Bibles rather than a MasterRef.

Across these projects, I maintain reusable App, Game, Forge Book, Fiction & Universe, and Font Standards. Shared governance, licensing, QA, and the RedSigil∆ Complete Brand System help keep the work consistent without making every project identical. The Forge Publishing System lives inside the Brand System.

I value meaningful depth, tested claims, clear limitations, and documentation that survives the next phase of work.

🛠️ Toolbox

Android: Kotlin · Java · Android SDK · Gradle · ADB
Terminal & systems: Termux · Linux/PRoot · Bash · Git · C/C++ · NDK/JNI
Writing & workflows: Markdown · Pandoc · EPUB · GitHub · OpenCode

Tools I use, study, or experiment with—not a claim of expertise in everything listed.

🌲 Outside of development

When I'm not researching or building something, I enjoy:

  • 🗡️ RPGs, shooters, action, adventure, and platform games
  • 🕹️ Classic games, emulation, and fan-made game projects
  • 📚 Reading, especially fantasy and fictional worlds
  • 🎵 Music and 🌲 spending time outdoors
