Summary

Implements Stage 4: Learning Platform MVP (Milestone 3) to deliver structured self-paced technical learning, hands-on terminal exercises, internal architecture deep-dives, and practical capstone assignments.

Architectural Invariants & Key Changes

1. Database Schema & Migrations (drizzle/0007_learning_platform.sql):

   • learning_tracks: Published track metadata, prerequisites, objectives, difficulty, and order.
   • learning_modules: Structured sequential modules linked to tracks.
   • learning_lessons: Detailed lessons with markdown content and time estimates.
   • learning_enrollments: Tracks user enrollment, progress status (enrolled, in_progress, completed), and completion timestamps.
   • lesson_progress: Records per-student lesson completion state.
   • learning_assignments: Capstone assignments with acceptance criteria and submission types (github_pr, terminal_output, text_submission).
   • assignment_submissions: Submissions tracking student work, review status, and mentor feedback.

2. Curriculum Pilot Content (src/lib/learning/content.ts):

   • Track 1: Linux Fundamentals and Administration (3 modules, 6 detailed lessons with practical POSIX shell exercises, permissions, processes, storage, SSH hardening, and systemd service capstone).
   • Track 2: Git and Professional Open-Source Development (3 modules, 6 detailed lessons covering Git DAG internals, branching, Conventional Commits, interactive rebasing, merge conflict resolution, code reviews, and GitHub Actions CI).

3. Domain Service (src/lib/learning/service.ts):

   • Idempotent curriculum seeding (seedPilotCurriculum).
   • Track directory listing with completion percentages and lesson counts (listTracks).
   • Track syllabus retrieval (getTrackBySlug).
   • Interactive lesson viewer with sequential previous/next navigation (getLesson).
   • Enrollment and lesson completion toggling (enrollInTrack, toggleLessonProgress).
   • Assignment submission and validation (submitAssignment).
