docs(glossary): add CONTEXT.md, one definition of CacheKit's shared terms (LAB-11364) - #214
Adds CONTEXT.md at the repo root: one glossary for the terms CacheKit's specs, decision records and SDKs share, and a row for it in the README's specification table.
The glossary describes; it changes no spec, API, cache-key format or wire format. "Namespace" had three meanings in circulation (a server-side scope set by an ns: / nsapi: prefix, a client-side SDK key segment, and an older roadmap's "logical grouping" that is really the interop operation), so each now has its own entry: Namespace, Default namespace, SDK namespace, Invalidation group, Backend key prefix and Operation.
spec/cache-key-format.md → Server-Side Requirements ("Namespace", "Write spaces" and "Default namespace" rows); decisions/namespace-isolation.md → Decision ("A prefix named default gets no grant isolation")
SDK namespace
decisions/namespace-isolation.md → Context, Impact; sdk-feature-matrix.md → Namespace semantics; cachekit-ts SetOptions.namespace and WrapOptionsBase.namespace in packages/cachekit/src/types/cache.ts
Invalidation group
cachekit-ts CacheImpl.set (options?.namespace ?? extractNamespace(key), used only for the L1 entry) and CacheImpl.invalidate (invalidateByNamespace) in packages/cachekit/src/cache-core.ts; SetOptions.namespace in types/cache.ts
spec/intent-presets.md → Scope, Canonical Preset Table, Encrypted Preset Name
Known divergences
The glossary defines each term as the spec states it and lists, in one line each, two places where the code does not deliver that definition:
cachekit-py writes its SDK namespace into the ns: prefix with no validation (CacheKeyGenerator.generate_key in src/cachekit/key_generator.py). CacheKeyGenerator._normalize_key then turns a space, line feed or carriage return into _, so team a shares team_a; a : scopes the key to a different namespace; other characters outside the server's grammar get it rejected.
The 250-character key limit (CacheKeyGenerator._normalize_key, MAX_KEY_LENGTH / KEY_PREFIX_LENGTH; spec/cache-key-format.md → Key Length Limits) keeps the first 50 characters, so an SDK namespace longer than 47 characters is cut and the key lands in a different namespace.
Defines each shared term as the specs and decision records define it today,
gives each meaning of "namespace" its own entry, and records the two places
where cachekit-py's key generation diverges from the server's namespace rules.
Changes no spec, API, cache-key format or wire format.

Summary by CodeRabbit
Documentation
Added a shared glossary explaining CacheKit terms for keys, modes, namespaces, access, storage, freshness, encryption and configuration.
Clarified how SDK namespaces, key classes and grants relate to server namespaces and write spaces, and documented storage containers, edge copies, key derivation and intent presets.
Documented differences in how cachekit-py handles unchecked namespaces and long auto-mode keys.
Added a link to the glossary in the README’s specification files table.
Walkthrough
The pull request adds a shared CacheKit glossary in CONTEXT.md and links to it from the README Specification Files table. The glossary covers terminology, namespace relationships, storage, freshness, encryption, configuration, and two cachekit-py divergences.

Summary
Glossary and README index CONTEXT.md, README.md
CONTEXT.md defines shared CacheKit terms and records two cachekit-py divergences. The README Specification Files table links to the glossary.
cachekit-io/protocol#206: Documents Rust’s default tenant_id for encryption derivation and authenticated data, which the glossary also describes.

- Line 10: Update the cache-key description to clarify that decoded keys are
opaque for application semantics but must pass server validation for length,
allowed characters, traversal safety, and conditional namespace structure for
`ns:` and `nsapi:` prefixes. State that unprefixed keys use the `default`
namespace and refer readers to the server-side requirements.

…e's write spaces and Python's whitespace rewrite
A cachekit-ts set() namespace option groups entries for L1 invalidation and never changes the cache key, so it gets its own term. ns:default: and nsapi:default: keys sit in the default namespace but keep their write spaces; only unprefixed keys are open. cachekit-py turns whitespace in a namespace into _, which the divergence now states.

- Line 52: Update the namespace description in CONTEXT.md to separate the
auto-mode behaviour from interop-mode validation. State that only auto mode
writes the value as an ns: prefix; describe interop mode’s rejection of colons

beginning with ns: or nsapi:.
- Line 185: Update the glossary wording to qualify truncation: state that the
250-character limit keeps the first 50 characters only when the complete Python
auto-mode key exceeds 250 characters, and describe the namespace being cut short
and landing elsewhere as a possibility.

…e and SDK namespace with the specs
Master key is exactly 32 bytes, the only length every SDK accepts. The logical backend key includes prefixes a backend or its client library adds. The serializer code is not a collision-resistant separator. A key leaves the default namespace only when the emitted key starts with ns: or nsapi:. The glossary is marked informative, Key prefix becomes Backend key prefix, and aliases move into the Avoid lines.
… scope truncation to over-long keys
Interop namespaces can never contain a colon or be ns or nsapi, so interop keys always land in the default namespace. The 250-character truncation applies only when the complete key exceeds the limit.
