chore(opencode): move the OpenCode pin to 2.2.3 and ocm-cli to OpenTUI 0.8 - #476
OpenCode 2.2.3 requires TUI plugins built for OpenTUI 0.8, so the ocm plugin built for OpenTUI 0.7 no longer fits 2.2.3+ hosts.
The Manager moves its single OpenCode pin from 2.2.1 to 2.2.3; the supported range becomes >=2.2.3 <3.0.0.
ocm-cli builds against @opencode/plugin 2.2.3 and OpenTUI 0.8 and requires a local OpenCode >= 2.2.3; its version stays 0.5.0 (never published).
Change
shared: OPENCODE_PINNED_VERSION, @opencode/client and @opencode/schema move to 2.2.3; theme palettes regenerated from the v2.2.3 tag (colour values only; Catppuccin and Kanagawa light change) with the license attribution updated.
Dockerfile and .github/workflows/ci.yml move to 2.2.3; the contract test now also guards @opencode/schema and the CI download, so a missed pin bump fails a test.
backend: version fixtures that fell below the new floor move to 2.2.3, and the binary helper test takes its version from the pin.
package-compat.test.ts reads the floor of the plugin's peer (an exact version or a single >=X.Y.Z, otherwise it throws), keeps a patch-level 0.x floor, and normalizes prefixed versions.
README: the 0.5.x row and requirements say OpenCode >= 2.2.3, and the 0.4.x/0.3.x rows are marked as not tested with >= 2.2.3.
pnpm test: CLI 453/453, backend 4364/4364, frontend 4059/4060; the one failing PromptInput.stt.test.tsx case also fails on an unmodified origin/main checkout
Live OpenCode 2.2.3 (official linux build, isolated HOME/XDG, vendored with ocm install --no-link, TUI under a PTY): the ocm plugin's setup and cleanup complete with 15 plugins loaded and no errors or unmet peers
Notes
OpenCode 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 become unsupported: the Docker entrypoint replaces an older stored binary on the next start (needs egress to opencode.ai), and linked servers below 2.2.3 are reported as unsupported.
/ocm, /ocm-move and /ocm-multirun against a real Manager were not exercised; they remain a manual check.
The mobile app's @opencode/client moves to the new pin separately.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Compatibility
Updated the supported OpenCode version to 2.2.3. The CLI now requires OpenCode 2.2.3 or later within the 2.x series.
Updated CLI compatibility requirements for OpenCode themes, OpenTUI, and SolidJS.
Visual Updates
Refreshed colors in the Catppuccin, Frappe, Macchiato, and Kanagawa themes.
…I 0.8 (OM-169)
OpenCode 2.2.3 requires TUI plugins built for OpenTUI 0.8. Move the single
OpenCode pin, the typed client and schema, the Docker default and the CI
download to 2.2.3, so the supported range becomes >=2.2.3 <3.0.0, and
regenerate the theme palettes from the v2.2.3 tag.
Move ocm-cli to @opencode/plugin and @opencode/theme 2.2.3 and OpenTUI 0.8.0,
raise the solid-js dev pin and peer floor to 1.9.16, and teach the
package-compat test to read the floor of a range peer, keeping a patch-level
0.x floor and normalizing prefixed versions.
Guard the CI workflow's download against the pin in the contract test, take
the binary test fixture from the pin, and document the ocm 0.5.x requirement
of a local OpenCode >= 2.2.3.

Walkthrough
The OpenCode baseline moves from 2.2.1 to 2.2.3 across shared policy, dependencies, CI, Docker defaults, and backend test fixtures. CLI compatibility checks and peer requirements are updated. Several OpenCode theme palettes and their source attribution also change.

Summary
Version pin and shared contract shared/src/opencode/release.ts, shared/package.json, .github/workflows/ci.yml, Dockerfile, AGENTS.md, backend/test/shared/opencode-contract.test.ts
The shared version pin and SDK dependencies now use 2.2.3. CI and Docker use the same version. Contract tests check the version policy and CI pin.
Backend installation and settings routes backend/test/services/opencode-installer.test.ts, backend/test/routes/settings.test.ts
Installer and settings-route tests update supported-version boundaries, installation scenarios, registry fixtures, and expected responses for versions 2.2.3 and 2.2.4.
Backend server version fixtures backend/src/services/opencode-server-registry.test.ts, backend/test/helpers/opencode-binary.test.ts, backend/test/services/opencode-single-server.test.ts
Server, health-check, registry, and binary-helper test fixtures use the 2.2.3 baseline.
CLI peer and development dependency requirements change. Compatibility tests normalize stable versions and resolve peer-version floors; documentation states the updated OpenCode and OpenTUI requirements.
chriswritescode-dev/opencode-manager#474: Updates the same OpenCode pin, CI, Docker, version-validation, dependency, and CLI compatibility surfaces to 2.2.1; this PR advances that version contract to 2.2.3.

Numbers and literals may be difficult to read in three light themes. This is a bounded readability issue that can be addressed in a follow-up.

Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win
Increase contrast for syntax constants.
The new #fe640b has about 2.6:1 contrast against #eff1f5. The code-block background is darker, so contrast is lower there. This makes numbers and literals difficult to read in all three light Catppuccin themes. Use a darker constant color or adjust the rendered color for contrast. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
Based on learnings: foreground text should have sufficient contrast against its background.
Also applies to: 278-278, 323-323
