All supported Debian and Ubuntu build distributions provide debhelper compatibility level 13, including Debian 12 (bookworm) and Ubuntu 22.04 (jammy). Update all packages from compat 12 to 13. Earlier attempts to modernize the packaging were constrained by Ubuntu 18.04 support, which is no longer required. Signed-off-by: Sebastiaan van Stijn <github@gone.nl>
The overrides disabled dh_dwz to work around failures when processing binaries without debug information with older versions of debhelper. All supported build distributions now provide debhelper 13 or newer. Remove the overrides and restore the default helper sequence. This depends on the CLI build omitting DWARF debug information with -w: dwz otherwise fails on its compressed debug sections.
