LLM Review

Risk: 🟢 LOW

Updates the ECS service cupcake-cupcake in place (health check grace period and a desired-count tag) and replaces its task definition to add a busybox init container that chmods /tmp, with no security group, IAM, or public exposure changes.

  • 💥 [destruction] aws_ecs_task_definition.this is destroy-and-replace (forced by container_definitions change). This creates a new revision rather than deleting data; the ECS service will roll to the new revision, causing a normal rolling deployment. Old task definition revisions are deregistered, not destroyed in a data-losing way.
  • ✅ [routine] Adds a non-essential busybox init container (platform_tmp_init, running as root only to chmod 1777 /tmp, read-only root filesystem) and the main container now depends on it with condition SUCCESS. Image is pinned by digest, which is good practice.
  • ✅ [routine] Main container's hostPort mapping of 3000 is removed. Under awsvpc networking hostPort is ignored, so this should be harmless, but confirm the network mode is awsvpc or the port mapping change could affect reachability.
  • ✅ [routine] ECS service in-place update: health_check_grace_period_seconds goes from 0 to 120 and a javabin:desired-count tag is added. Neither changes scaling behaviour or exposure.
  • 💰 [cost] No new billable resources are created. The only cost is the brief extra task startup time for the init container.
  • 🔒 [security] No IAM, security group, load balancer, or public network changes in this plan. The new init container runs as root (user 0) but is short-lived and restricted by a read-only root filesystem.
