Windows: module resolution fails for paths containing a con/ directory segment (reserved device name) #64653
node_modules/repro-pkg/index.d.ts(1,15): error TS2307: Cannot find module './con/foo.js' or its corresponding type declarations.
src/main.ts(1,10): error TS2305: Module '"repro-pkg"' has no exported member 'Foo'.
With skipLibCheck: true, the TS2307 is suppressed and only the consumer-facing TS2305 remains (the star re-export silently contributes nothing).
Renaming the directory from con to other makes the error go away under the same TS7 native build.
🙂 Expected behavior
Same as TypeScript 6 and as TS7 native on Linux: ./con/foo.js resolves to ./con/foo.d.ts, and Foo is exported.
