Attach to Process Hangs when Using Process Picker #899
Description
Type: Bug
Behaviour
Debugger hangs when using "${command:pickProcess}" to pick a process. Note: If I manually enter the process id, the debugger attaches just fine.
Steps to reproduce:
- From debug dropdown click `Add New Configuration'
- Click 'Python Debugger'
- Select 'Attach Using Process Id'
- Start Debugging (F5)
Expected behavior
Picker lists available processes.
Actual behavior
The indicator under the dropdown indicates progress, but nothing happens.

You might be having the same issue as #744, which could be due to a missing WMIC.
Possible solutions:

Hi, is this task still alive? As I know, Microsoft is going to definitively drop WMIC in the next updates.

This fix should already be in our latest prerelease I believe.
