Description

Restore GitHub Copilot support behind the opt-in internal feature flag from #243, which was removed in #244. Copilot remains hidden and unavailable by default.

Changes

• Restore device-code sign-in, auth status/disconnect, model discovery, configuration management, and model selection across onboarding, Settings, and chat.
• Enable the feature only when MICROCLAW_INTERNAL_GITHUB_COPILOT=1 is present at application startup, and enforce the gate in both main-process IPC and renderer entry points.
• Support OpenClaw 2026.10.5 runtime configuration and use its read-only model-list CLI for model discovery; package the authentication worker.
• Preserve the current onboarding cards, provider signup links, and newly merged provider-removal and IPC catalog fixes.
• Document the internal opt-in in both READMEs and restore/add regression coverage.

Testing

• Desktop Vitest: 1,847 passed, 37 skipped.
• Renderer Vitest: 571 passed.
• Desktop TypeScript and renderer production build pass.
• Changed-file ESLint, Prettier, and git diff --check pass.
• Smoke-tested model discovery/cache against installed OpenClaw 2026.10.5 with an isolated configuration and no credentials.
• Live GitHub device-code authorization (not performed).

Full desktop ESLint still reports two pre-existing errors in untouched files: desktop/src/chat-attachments.ts:105 (no-control-regex) and desktop/src/openclaw-upgrade-recovery.ts:236 (unused readJsonObject). They are outside this PR's scope.

Internal opt-in

Fully exit MicroClaw before starting it with MICROCLAW_INTERNAL_GITHUB_COPILOT=1. For development in PowerShell:
