Corrects the variables reference: an undefined or mismatched
{{placeholder}}renders as literal text instead of failing the build, names are case-sensitive, andmint validatecatches them. Also updates the configure settings mint-instructions topic, and trims the publish/repo topic back under its 8,000-byte limit, which it went over on main.Based on a support conversation where a variable name mismatch left placeholders unreplaced on a live site.
Note
Low Risk
Documentation-only corrections with no code or configuration changes.
Overview
Updates documentation to match actual
variablesbehavior after support feedback where mismatched names left{{placeholders}}visible on production.organize/settings-structure.mdxandmint-instructions/configure/settings.mdxno longer say undefined or missing variables fail the build/deploy. They now state that names are case-sensitive, unmatched placeholders still publish as literal text, andmint validateis what flags undefined variables before release.mint-instructions/publish/repo.mdxhas minor GitLab provider copy edits (webhook test wording, OAuth scope note) and list formatting only—no behavioral doc change there.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit e8022d0.
