- SCP-550 is a tall, humanoid figure made of wood shavings from an ash tree, resembling a very thin man, which can move and smell even though it has no visible organs. It primarily seeks out human corpses, especially those in early stages of decay. When it finds a body, SCP-550 opens a chest-like cavity that secretes a strong acid to break down the corpse, absorbing nutrients like amino acids and proteins through its wooden body. After feeding, it expels leftover materials like skin, clothing, and stomach bile. It is kept in a standard humanoid cell and provided with a human corpse every two weeks, with personnel needing to wear protective gear when interacting with it.

- Graun im Vinschgau is a municipality and village in South Tyrol, northern Italy, notable for its unique history involving the Reschensee (Lake Reschen). The original village was intentionally flooded and demolished in 1950 to create a hydroelectric dam, with the exception of the 14th-century church bell tower, which still dramatically protrudes from the lake's surface and has become a famous landmark. The new village of Graun was rebuilt on the lake's new shore, and the submerged ruins of the old village are sometimes visible when water levels are low.
