Document that doctests run once even when
--countis greater than one, and limit the README's repetition claim to pytest test functions. This covers doctests in Python modules and text files, following the documentation request in #41.tox runpasses all 11 declared environments on Linux: 16 tests in each of the ten test environments, plus Flake8. Across those environments, 80 mixed-suite probes confirm both doctest collection modes and all four repeat scopes. Windows Python 3.12.10 passes all 16 tests and eight equivalent probes. The final wheel installs under Python 3.9.25 with pytest 7.4.4, matches the checked plugin source, and passes 16 tests and eight more probes. CI'suv build, strict Twine checks andcheck-wheel-contentsalso pass. The change is limited to the README and explains existing behaviour; reverting it has no runtime effect.
The remaining Windows matrix, macOS and successful upstream CI remain unverified.
