🔵 Needs a closer look

The IPC backend and cavstool harness are outside the snapshot, so endpoint contracts, acknowledgement handling, and the revised DMA drain condition require validation on Intel ADSP hardware.

What changed in this PR

Converts the userspace Intel HDA DMA test to use Zephyr’s IPC service for communication with the cavstool host.

Changes:

  • Replaces direct IPC handlers with endpoint registration, messaging, and cleanup.
  • Adds explicit waits for host acknowledgments and validation results.
  • Updates DMA completion polling to wait until no data remains pending.
File Description
zephyr/test/userspace/test_intel_hda_dma.c Migrates host communication to the IPC service and updates transfer completion and validation synchronization.

Review effort: Balanced
